Aurora Pearls  Updated 4/19/2008

Strictly speaking, these beautiful ruffled bowls are not Carnival Glass although they are iridized. Probably made in Europe (and some people claim quite recently), they have no pattern but have delicate enameled decoration. The blue bowl shown here, with decoration on both front and back, sold for $6,000 in 2003. The cranberry on green example on the right brought $1,900, also in 2003. Here are some other examples:

Green, 4,500 (2002)
White, 525 (2003)
Cranberry on green, 1,900 (2003)
Green, 11 inch, 3/1 edge, 400 (2006)
White, grape and leaf motif, 1,600 (2005)
Bride's basket with daisy motif, 2000 (2005)
Pink satin, 12 1/2 inch CRE ruffled, 200 (2006)
White opal, 12 inch, crimped, 500 (2005)
