Blackberry Bark
Quite an unusual design with a lot of detail. While the maker is unknown, it has similarities to the Acorn vase thought to have been made by Millersburg. This example is one of three known, all amethyst. One of the three known examples sold in 2018 for $34,000.

According to Mavis Loescher, whose late husband George owned one of these rare vases, they measure 6 3/4 inches tall with a three-inch base. George's vase sold in 2022 for $24,000.

In 2022, Carl and Eunice Booker sent me this photo of another Blackberry Bark vase, Here's what they had to say about it:

We first saw a Blackberry Bark vase when it sold at a Woody auction (we think). It was purchased by Emma Tilton for Carol Moore who lived in Oregon and was a vase collector. Carol was not related to Don or Connie Moore.

We did have the opportunity to visit with Carol Moore at her home in Oregon. Her husband had built her a complete pole barn for her vases with individually made spaces for most of the vases. It was a wonderful experience and she seemed to be delighted that someone had come to see her. She was then living on a ranch, quite remote.
