Blackberry Spray, Fenton   Updated 5/2/2013

Blackberry Spray is a fairly easily found pattern. It has a spray of berries around the edge and a plain exterior. Most examples have four sets of berries, but some only two. Found in hats that are ruffled (sometimes crimped), with 2 sides up, square (4 sides up), or jack-in-the-pulpit. The ruffled example above left is in red opal and the crimped jack-in-the-pulpit is red--a common color in this pattern. Fenton also made a similar pattern with a band of vertical lines, Blackberry Banded.
