Cosmos Variant, Diamond

Not sure why this is called a Variant as it is not related to any other Cosmos pattern although the well-known Millersburg pattern has a similar flower without the wreath of leaves. Unlike the Millersburg Cosmos pattern, which is found only in green bowls 6 to 7 inches across, this one is found mostly in 10-inch bowls of various colors and occasional chop plates flattened from the bowls.

The example above is an exceptionally nice marigold example that sold at a Jim Seeck auction in 2020 for $75.
