Double Stem Rose, Dugan   Updated 3/22/2008

Six roses with stems doubling down into a central rose. This pattern has a domed foot like many Dugan pieces. The piece on the left is a deep ice cream shaped bowl, probably the most common shape. On the right is a ruffled bowl in blue opal--an extraordinary color for Dugan--or for most makers for that matter. While plates will be more than the usually required 2 inches off the table because of the dome foot, they must be flat and not cup up at the edge.
