Leaf Chain, Fenton   Updated 4/21/2008

This is the same chain motif as Fenton's Cherry Chain, but instead has leaves in place of the cherries. The pattern was made with two different molds; one for the large plates and bowls, the other for the small plates and bowls. Large bowls and plates have the Bearded Berry back; small bowls and plates the Berry and Leaf Circles back. The two rare examples above are a 9-inch plate in amethyst and a large ruffled bowl in aqua opal. The bowl is courtesy of Dale Matheny.
