Loganberry, Imperial

These dramatic vases are about 10 inches tall and have a 4 1/4-inch base. They have been reproduced; the old vases have a starred base, the new ones an IG logo on a stippled background. I've also seen them with a plain base--some of which may be old. An additional clue is that the new examples have ruffled tops. Shown here are classic-era amber and purple examples.

At the left is the one of the few Loganberry vases with a round flared top. In purple, it sold at the 2022 NECGA auction of the Loescher glass by Wroda for $1,200.
