| These contemporary Fantail bowls measure about 9 inches and I've seen them in red as well as the amethyst shown here. The exterior is Butterfly and Berry and, in fact, that's the name given to the contemporary pattern even though it has the Fantail interior. Some were made by Fenton for Singleton Bailey. Two of these in black amethyst sold at auction in 2001 for $28 and $30. Below are a few other examples:
