There are four known of these 8-in black amethyst vases of which the maker is unknown. With minor edge nicks, it sold in 2006 for $1,025. Another, listed as blue with a flake on the corner, sold in 2017 for $300. In 2017, a purple example with minor edge nicks sold for $750.
