Primrose, Millersburg

Primrose has four stalks radiating out from the center of the bowl with two primroses on each stalk. Often hard to see the pattern because the busy back pattern (Fine Cut Heart) almost always shows through. On the left is a typically shaped amethyst bowl; on the right a rare blue bowl that sold in 1996 for $4,000.

At the left is a green Primrose square crimped bowl owned by Danny McFalls. He sent me the photo in March 2020 and said he had asked around and nobody else had seen one. I checked my auction sales database going back 25 years and could find no others listed as square. Quite a find.

In 2021, Jim Seeck sold one like this for $1,800.

This ruffled bowl is in Horehound, the first I've heard of in that color. The photo was sent to me by Laura Young in 2021.
