Strutting Peacock, Westmoreland   Updated 12/6/2007
Strutting Peacock is found only in this breakfast set of a small covered creamer and sugar. For some reason, the lids are never iridized. Westmoreland reproduced these in the 1970s and whimsied the sugar base into a small rosebowl for Levay. The original examples in amethyst range in value from $50 to $70, although they occasionally sell above or below that range. In 2003, a green set with lids sold for $80.

In March 2004, a black amethyst rosebowl sold on eBay for $61, the seller claiming it was old.
