Thistle and Thorn
While traditionally credited to Sowerby, no definitive attribution exists. The Thistle and Thorn pattern consists of large leaves and smaller thistle and branches around the exterior. Found only in marigold in creamers, sugar bowls, and 8-inch bowls. Shown are a creamer and a sugar bowl which, because it is larger than the sugar, is sometimes described as a nut bowl. Any of these shapes sell for about $5 to $10.

In 2021, a marigold creamer and sugar set in this pattern sold for $15.
