| Tiger Lily is found only in water set pieces. The pattern is distinguished by the vertical, leaved stalks and the lilies near the top. While Imperial made the bulk of the pattern, Riihimaki of Finland is thought to have copied it. Most of the pieces found in blue are the Riihimaki versions. While the patterns are similar, there are some differences. On the pitchers, the vertical stalks have thinner and more horizontal leaves on the Riihimaki version (below) as well as more space between the top leaves and flower above. The Riihimaki tumblers have a collar base. Imperial reissued Tiger Lily in the 1970s. | |
