Wild Strawberry, Northwood   Updated 4/7/2012
Northwood's Wild Strawberry is almost identical to its Strawberry pattern. The most easily discerned difference is that the Wild Strawberry has small blossoms toward the outer edge of the design (see arrow in right photo)--which the Strawberry does not. Most pieces have the basketweave exterior but a few have a plain back. The handgrip plate shown above left is the most frequently seen shape. Most of these measure between 7 and 8 inches across, but there is a rare smaller one, about 6 inches across, that has only two strawberries in each group.
