| These lamps were constructed from the base of the Grape and Cable perfume bottle (made by Dugan). While they're generally considered to be from the classic era, I have no proof of their age. Dugan went out of business about 1931, so presumably before that date someone purchased a supply of the perfumes and added the fount. In 1998 a purple example brought $200; in 2012 another purple example sold for $525. In 2005, a celeste blue example, said to have been made for Sherman Hand, sold for $225.
