Inca Vase, Libochovice
This rare vase is owned by Duane and Norma Uusitalo. Quite a massive vase, it measures 12 inches tall and 9 inches in diameter. It's in fiery or black amethyst. Glen and Stephen Thistlewood identify this vase as having been made by Libochovice of Czechoslovakia, the same maker as that of the Giant Lily, Pebble and Fan, and Seagulls vases. A marigold example sold for $1,900 in 2006. Many thanks to Duane and Norma for sending this photo of their extraordinary vase.

In 2016, one of these vases sold for $170, though it was listed as "Aztec."
