Intaglio Daisy, Diamond

A somewhat scarce pattern. Shown is a typical bowl shape although bowls vary slightly in depth. This one is 7 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches tall. Also known in rosebowls. The only two items that have sold recently of which I am fairly certain of identity (they're often identified as Westmoreland's Intaglio Flower) are a marigold rosebowl in 2007 for $33 and a marigold rosebowl in 2012 for $25. Another marigold rosebowl sold in 2016 for $25.

In 2021, a bowl 7 inches across and 3 3/4 inches high sold for $70.

Hartung Book Four: Intaglio Daisy

Carl O. Burns, in his 1999 book on Dugan and Diamond, shows a bowl in amethyst that he describes as the only one known in the color. Photo above by King Hoppel.
