Paradise, Fostoria

For years, this pattern was known by two names, Brocaded Summer Gardens and Brocaded Roses. The two pieces above were sold under those names although we now know they were part of Fostoria's pattern Paradise.

Part of the reason is that Marion Hartung, while writing her books, visualized them as separate patterns and reported them as such. The pattern has numerous flowers and leaves as well as short stem sections, making it easy to confuse the pattern when applied to different shapes.
