Three Fruits Medallion, Northwood
The difference between this version of Three Fruits and the regular version is the three leaves that appear in the center of the design, rather than the cherries. The pattern is also somewhat smaller, leaving a wider plain band around the outside. These are sometimes called spatula footed as they have Northwood's Meander back with the three feet. Yet another variant has a dome base with a combination back of basketweave and a Vintage pattern (above right)--usually referred to as dome footed. Both the Medallion and dome footed are found only in ruffled bowls.
