Cherry Chain, Fenton   Updated 11/20/2011    More

This pattern can be distinguished from the similar Cherry Circles (found only in bonbons) by the grouping of cherries in the center. It has the same looped motif as Leaf Chain. The pattern on the back is Orange Tree. Amethyst and green are particularly desirable colors. Fenton reissued the pattern in several colors and shapes, including chop plates. Above left is a typical large ruffled bowl in marigold, on the right a rare green small bowl (with an Orange Tree exterior), courtesy of Steve Laurer.
