Another, called the variant (above right), is most easily distinguished by the tendrils that sneak into the otherwise plain center. Notice also that the shape of the grape bunches is quite different. This variant is also the front pattern of the lettered piece, Old Rose Distillery. While most bowls are found with a collar base, a few have the Meander exterior that has three spatula feet. Otherwise, they'll usually have the basketweave exterior. Doesn't seem to affect the price much one way or the other, however.

What does affect the price are patterns that have a stippled background. Such pieces are always worth more than the unstippled examples.
